PENNSYLVANIA BREASTFEEDING COALITION BY-LAW
ARTICLE IV - MEMBERSHIP

1. Members of the Coalition may be individuals and/or representatives from organizations.

2. All members must sign a declaration of support for the Coalition mission statement

3. There will be two categories of memberships:

1) Active members:

(a) must attend at least one half (1/2) of the scheduled meetings yearly or meet alternative requirements as determined by the Steering Committee in lieu of attendance.

(b) must participate on at least one committee.

(c) have privilege of voting.

2) Supporting members are those who actively participate by contributing resources (such as expertise, in-kind services, or financial support) on an annual basis.

4. Alternative requirements for Active Membership:

1) The member may send a well-briefed alternate if unable to attend a meeting.

2) The member may call or correspond with the Chair, communicating his/her continued active interest.

3) The member may be active on a committee even if unable to attend state-wide meetings.
Membership dues cover from July 1 - June 30.
